Ian Bluntish has over 40 years’ experience in a wide range of optometric practices around Australia and has been based at Glenelg for over 20 years now. Like all health professions optometry has been continually changing over that time and Ian has a keen interest in, and commitment to, keeping abreast of these opportunities. As well as being a committed clinician, Ian is active in the broader optometry profession including being on the board of Provision, an organisation which provides support to independent optometry practices. Previous roles have included Chair of the Optometry Board of Australia (responsible for registering appropriately qualified optometrists) and President of the Optometry Association (SA and National).
When not pondering things optometric, Ian can be found in his garden.
Please note the practice will be closed on the Saturday of a scheduled long weekend – ie closed on the Saturday of the March, June and October long weekends.
